Meeting of Boosters was held in the MHS Band Room with President, Martha Cadarette, presiding. Finance Report - 1. Total Income: $24,871.79; Total Expenditures: $1,663.48 2. Account Balance: $23,208.31 Old Business: 1. Gift Certificate for Tim Eggleston was discussed. Martha Cadarette would purchase a $25.00 Gift Certificate as a Thank You Gift. New Business: 1. Winter Concert: Tuesday, 11 December 2001. Marcy Reid-Smith will purchase white carnations for the Seniors to wear on their uniforms. 2. Mr. Vermillion will print and mail the Thank You letters to Sponsors and those who contributed to the Marching Contest. 3. The candy money for the Childrens Christmas Party is due on Friday, 7 December 2001. 4. Uniforms: Inventory will be done. Some money from the School System will be used to order extra items. All worn uniforms will be cleaned this year. Martha Cadarette recommended that Uniform Fees be paid at the beginning of the semester. 5. Publicity: Mr. Vermillion will call the Eden Daily News in reference to pictures of the Winter Concert. Report from the Director: 1. The Band will visit the Elementary Schools and perform for the students after the Winter Concert. 2. Spring Trip: Destinations are questionable due to security reasons after the Terrorist Attacks of 11 September 2001. There is the possibility of a trip closer to home. Will be discussed at January meeting.
